Mandate

The Committee is mandated to coordinate the National Assembly's engagement with the ACP–EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly by promoting parliamentary dialogue, partnership, development cooperation, democratic governance, and mutual understanding between ACP States and the European Union.

Description

<p>The Committee facilitates the National Assembly&#039;s participation in ACP–EU meetings, conferences, and programmes, while strengthening cooperation with parliaments from Africa, the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the European Union on issues of development, trade, human rights, peace, and sustainable development.</p>
