Mandate

he Committee on Gender, Children and Social Welfare is mandated to oversee policies, legislation, programs, and institutions relating to gender equality, child protection, social welfare, and the promotion of the rights and well-being of vulnerable groups. The committee monitors the implementation of government initiatives aimed at advancing social inclusion, protecting human rights, and improving the welfare of women, children, persons with disabilities, older persons, and other vulnerable populations.
