THIRD AND FOURTH ORDINARY SESSIONS OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IN THE 2026 LEGISLATIVE YEAR
MONDAY 07TH SEPTEMBER - THURSDAY 29TH OCTOBER, 2026
The Office of the Clerk of the National Assembly wishes to inform the general public that the Third and Fourth Ordinary Sessions of the National Assembly in the 2026 Legislative Year shall be convened for the period Monday 07th September - Thursday 29th October, 2026.
During this period, Honourable Members will consider and deliberate on Government businesses, Questions to Hon. Ministers for Oral Answers, Reports of various Committees and Parliamentary delegations of the National Assembly, Motions and Bills.
pursuant to section 152 of the 1997 Constitution and Order 86 of the Standing Orders of the National Assembly, Honourable Members shall consider the Draft Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure of the Government of The Gambia for the 2027 fiscal year.
The daily sittings of the Assembly shall commences at 10:00am prompt.
All those who wish to attend the daily sittings are requested to obtain admittance from the Office of the Clerk.
The public is reminded to comply with the standard dress code. (traditional/suit) required and also to observe the silence rule during proceedings of the Session.
